Deutsches Rotes Kreuz(DRK) Complete Leader´s Dagger M38

German Red Cross (DRK) Model 1938 Officer's Dagger: Mirror-finish, double-edged blade (typically unmarked by the manufacturer) with an intact leather buffer pad. All metal fittings are nickel-plated; the crossguard features a left-facing DRK eagle clutching a cross pattée in its talons. The grip is made of orange Bakelite/hard plastic, and the six-grooved pommel nut shows no signs of having been turned. The matching scabbard, which tapers to a smooth tip, is drawn from a single piece of sheet steel and features a pebbled surface texture on both the front and back; the throat fitting is a separate component secured by two side screws. Complete with the two-piece DRK dagger hanger (silver-plated zinc) and a matching silver portepee (sword knot).
