Wehrmacht/Heer(WH) Officers Saber [Alcoso/Solingen]

Wehrmacht/Army officer's saber: mirror-polished, nickel-plated blade with manufacturer's mark "Alcoso/Solingen", fire-gilt non-ferrous metal hilt with hand-chiseled oak leaf decoration and national eagle with hanging wings in the shield, black Trolon grip with intact wire wrapping. The accompanying steel scabbard with approximately 85% of its original paintwork intact, complete with pear-shaped saber hanger made of brown replacement leather and wrapped sword knot in later wartime design.
