Wehrmacht/Army Splinter Camouflage Steel Helmet Cover

Wehrmacht/Heer splinter camouflage helmet cover for steel helmet M35/40/42: Made from two layers of differently structured linen cloth. The exterior features the so-called "Splinter" camouflage pattern with seven attached camouflage loops; the reverse side is made of white waxed linen. The cover bears an acceptance stamp and the date "54/43" and comes complete with its original white cotton drawstring. The colors are slightly faded; the cover is ideally suited for size 64–66 steel helmets.
