Wehrmacht/Heer side cap for officers of the Panzergrenadiers: Private item circa 1941, field grey gaberdine cloth complete with original sewn cap insignia in silver thread hand-embroidered design and surrounding silver cord. The meadow-green soutache above the cockade is factory-inserted and stitched into the fold. Interior features stone-grey silk lining with a leather sweatband at the front; stamped size 57.
