LBA 1944 Luftwaffe Fieldcap M43 for 3rd. Fallschirmjäger-Division

Field Cap M1943 for a Luftwaffe Paratrooper: Luftwaffe Procurement Office (LBA) issue cap, circa 1944. Made from blue-grey cloth with the machine-stitched original cap trapezoid with national eagle and cockade, in a late-war version embroidered on grey-green cloth for enlisted ranks. Each side is fitted with an enameled ventilation eyelet, and the cap bears a hand-stitched unit emblem of the 3rd Luftwaffe Paratrooper Division, executed as a hollow-stamped, toned fine-zinc badge. Inside, grey-blue silk lining with sweatband made of replacement leather and stamping L.B.A.44, size 57.

An exceptionally rare paratrooper field cap, showing light wear and remaining in impeccable condition.
